2019 February Meeting

Date/Time Location Course facilitator
15 Feb 2019 7:30 PM - 9:45 PM The Mohair Centre

Our meeting will be held on Friday 15th February at the Mohair Centre and will start at 7.30 with the opportunity to have a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit before our speaker starts their talk at 8.00.

Our speaker will be Ed Tyhurst whose talk with slides is about Newhaven Fort and its history.

You will be able to browse our library boxes and select books, videos, DVDs etc to borrow. Please put 50p per item borrowed in the pink pig and write the date, your name and book etc reference number in the log book. When returning items, please ensure that you strike out your details from the log book, this helps Jenny to keep tabs on everything. The money goes towards the purchase of new books, DVDs etc.

As usual, if you have any produce or items for sale (anything such as cakes, eggs, jams and pickles meat etc) please bring them along and put them on the table by the entrance door.

If the room has not already been set out for us, it would be helpful if those who are able could assist in bringing in and returning chairs from the storage cupboard that is in the open area at the front of the building.

Lastly, on arrival please make sure that you are signed in by Roy as it is important we know who is present in the event of an emergency.
