Our meeting on Friday 19th July will be at the Mohair Centre starting at 7.30 with the chance for a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit before our speaker starts his talk at 8.00.  Our speaker is Phil Greenwood of Sacred Earth at Marle Green (Horam).  The title of his talk will be ‘Soil is the next Plastic…’. He will be highlighting how the British public and government have moved towards reducing plastic waste in a very short time and that we should now focus on soil. He will tell us  various ways to improve long term fertility in soils (Biochar and Biodynamics) sharing  success stories from around the globe.

The library boxes will be available to select books,  DVDs etc to borrow. Please put 50p per item in the pink pig and write the date, your name and the book reference number in the log book. When returning items, please ensure you strike out your details in the log book this helps Jenny Cloke to keep tabs on everything. The money goes towards the purchase of new books.

As usual, if you have any items for sale, please bring them along and put them on the table inside the entrance door.

If the room has not already been set up it would be helpful if those who are able could assist in bringing in and returning chairs from the storage cupboard that is in the open area at the front of the building.

Lastly, on arrival please make sure that you are signed in by Roy as it is important we know who is present in the event of an emergency.
