Our meeting on Friday 18th October will be at the Rural Business Centre at Plumpton College in the upstairs conference room starting at 7.30 with the chance for a cup of tea or coffee and a biscuit before our speaker starts their talk at 8.00.
Our speaker this month will be Sarah Oldridge and her talk is The History and Work of the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew.
Jenny will be bringing a few books etc for you to browse and select to borrow. Please put 50p per item in the pink pig and write the date, your name and the book reference number in the log book. When returning items, please ensure you strike out your details in the log book this helps Jenny to keep tabs on everything. The money goes towards the purchase of new books.
As usual, if you have any items for sale, please bring them along and put them on the table inside the door.
Lastly, on arrival please make sure that you are signed in by Roy as it is important we know who is present in the event of an emergency.
