A Day of Bees

This full day will consist of a morning of theory; what is bee keeping, the cycle of the bee, the legal requirements and labelling. After a break for lunch you will kit-up (Hat, veil and gloves will be provided, please bring your own thick trousers, clean wellies, long sleeves and a zip up top) for a practical session with Ben and his son.  This is both a theory and practical course and you will come away buzzing with enthusiasm. Opening the Hives depends on the weather, but we have achieved it almost every time!
Bring  your own lunch, Tea, Coffee and biscuits will be provided.
DO NOT wear perfume, aftershave or scented products or eat bananas!
Suitable for all levels of interest.
