You will learn to dipatch chickens by stunning and bleeding, (watching only is an option) how to wet-pluck a chicken so as to avoid bruising and how to truss and dress them hygienically and safely ready for sale or the table. This is a hands on course, not for the faint-hearted.
Option to buy your chicken on the day
Michael & Philippa Vine have converted an old grain store on their farm into The Bluebell Farmhouse Kitchen in East Sussex. Michael, has been farming at his family’s 5th generation farm.
