Jane Howard and her husband, bought the run down farm with 'more enthusiasm than knowledge' in the late ninety's.After a lot of hard work they now have a thriving farm, with a herd of Pedigree Sussex cattle, sixty ewes, and old-fashioned breeds of pigs raised in the woods.
All hedgerows have been replanted, many ponds restored and a woodland coppicing programme introduced.
Jane and Adrian are happy to share their experiences, the highs and lows involved in bringing the farm back into a productive and profitable concern.Jane shows the cattle,sells produce at Stonegate farmers market and writes for the Wealden Times.
