The meeting on 20th October will be held in the Rural Business Centre at Plumpton College.
Our speaker this month will be Cate Chapman who will talking about the Ecological Land Co-operative. This organisation is looking for ways to encourage land to be used by smallholders. They have recently purchased land at Arlington in Sussex which they propose to divide into parcels of land which smallholders would be able to rent. They are looking for further land which would be suitable for a similar project. This is a subject that many members will find useful.
Cate will be able to bring us up to date with the latest news of the project.
There will not be any library books or videos to browse because we will be at Plumpton College.
If you have any produce or small items for sale please bring them along and put them on the table near the door.
Tea, coffee and biscuits will be available.
The room is usually set out for us with comfortable chairs.
Lastly, on arrival, please make sure that you are signed in by Roy as it is important we know who is present in the event of any emergency.
