Friends and family are warmly welcomed to come and pick grapes at the vineyard during harvest time in October (usually 3rd week in October). There is no fee for attending but you are given lunch as a thank you for your days work. If you want to find out a bit more about vines and what’s involved, before our vineyard tour next year, here is your opportunity. Children welcome but are the responsibility of the parent(s) at all times as there is a pond there and their safety is paramount. If you would like to be contacted when harvesting is taking place please book a place on SFTG website and you will be contacted by the Group Training Officer. Due to the nature of our weather you are not committed if you are unable to attend but I do need to confirm numbers the day before. Please do not just turn up as you won’t get lunch!
