Find out what smallholding entails from a practical perspective – visit this 7 acre smallholding and learn about some of the experiences of the owners over the last 15 years. There’ll be a bit on how to get started, the paperwork and legal bits and finances. Plus a basic overview of keeping poultry, sheep, cattle and pigs, growing veg, making hay, small-scale cereals. Then you can see around the smallholding with a farm walk.
