Knapsack Spraying and the Safe Use of Pesticides for the over Fifties

Date/Time Location Course facilitator
5 Mar 2016 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM The Oast Farmhouse Jennifer Cloke

This SFTG course is for anyone who has previously been using a knapsack under the grandfather rights exemption and wishes to carry on purchasing agricultural herbicides and spraying on their own land. (Eventually the participants will need to take a City & Guilds exam in order to purchase herbicides and insecticides and to legally spray on their own land – this will cost £193).  This course will help you to prepare for the exam (which you will organise at your own convenience).  Please bring lunch, a calculator, pen and paper and outdoor clothes including wellies.  If you have the following bring them (but do not purchase them for this course): clean knapsack sprayer, coverall, nitrile gloves, face shield, stopwatch.
