A Visit to the Oldland Windmill and South-Downs Heritage Centre

Meet for a welcome drink in the Thatched Inn at Keymer at 12noon where we can leave our vehicles.  At 12.45 take a 15 minute walk to the Windmill with our own tour guide from the Oldland Mill Trust. It is the oldest working windmill in the country, fully restored by volunteers.   Located on Lodge Hill between Keymer and Ditchling in Sussex, transport can be arranged on the day if it is raining or if walking is a problem for anyone.  Please note there are steep steps in the Windmill.

After the tour a short drive to a Cream Tea for £4.50 (optional) at a nearby  Garden Centre, South Downs Nurseries, where the South Downs Heritage centre has a number of interesting exhibits – the entry is free and well worth a visit to finish off the afternoon.

A 10% discount for use in the Garden Centre for that day only is available to members so please bring your membership card with you.

£5.00 to include entry/donation to Mill.
Pub refreshments and Cream Teas to be paid for by individuals at the time of purchase.
