Come and spend an hour in the lambing barn, meet Debbie who will have been lambing for the previous two weeks, so will have plenty of stories from the 2021 lambing season. You can bottle feed a new lamb, see how to set up your barn for your own lambing season, and ask as many questions as you like. If the ewes are feeling in the mood, they may even lamb for you right then and there… This is a practical session, so dress warmly, with wellies, and expect to be in a barn environment, limited facilities, but a very warm welcome. You can come into the pens, cuddle the lambs, and assist with any births if they are happening at the time.
We will endeavor to provide coffee and tea, and possibly some cake, it depends how the lambing has been going.
