All small farmers aged 5-15 welcome at this Small, Small Farmers Summer Holiday event. Have a walk around Debbie’s farm, a
glorious 20 acre working smallholding at Pick Hill.
Meet the sheep, pigs, turkeys, and chickens, see how to care for them, and give them their evening dinner. See the polytunnel and vegetable garden where you can pick something that is ripe that week.
Each week there will be an additional activity to enjoy, including a scavenger hunt, natural sculpture making, and Cyanotype printing. This event is aimed at ages 5-15 who will all need a ticket. Under 5’s are welcome to attend with adult supervision, and the
Parents are welcome to stay on site, just bring a picnic rug and set yourself up in the field and relax – have a chat and a catch up with other members, or join the small farmers and have fun on the farm. You are welcome to bring a picnic supper to enjoy on the farm.
Please be aware that this is a working farm, so please use common sense around hazards and animals. Debbie is fully DBS checked.
