In this workshop Andrew will explain how to make bacon and sausages. He will start with an explanation of what is involved in bacon curing and then you will have the opportunity to start off your own bacon.
This will be followed by hands-on practical on sausage making. Andrew has a small(ish) commercial meat grinder and a large manual sausage stuffer so everyone has a chance to make some sausages. And again you can take them home at the end of the workshop.
There are only 4 spaces available so book early!
The gto will be in touch will all participants nearer the time as it may be easier if one person supplies meat for everyone, and you then pay for the meat on the day. You will also be sent some options on bacon curing mixes and sausage making ingredients.
