Who are our members?
There is no typical member of the SFTG.
Some of our members raise chickens – as pets, for eggs or for meat. Some rear cattle or breed pigs, they keep llamas or ducks or geese, rheas or turkeys.
They grow wheat using the no-dig method or they tend vegetables. They pickle and smoke or brine and preserve. They make rugs or create art with willow, they weave or knit or bake.
They have 60 acre plots or average gardens or a couple of window-boxes.
