For our February meeting we have Ian Everest returning to give us a talk and show pictures about Landgirls in the second World War. Ian's mother was a landgirl so his talk is based on her personal experience. Ian gave us a talk last year about growing up on a 1950's Sussex farm which was very well attended. I hope that we will be able to do the same this time.
As usual, tea and coffee will be available before the meeting starts.
Jenny will be bringing the library so an opportunity to browse and select books to borrow. As ever, if you have any items for sale, be they produce or unwanted tooks etc, please bring them along.
