Join fellow member Denise in her polytunnel on her smallholding in Chiddingly as she explains how she puts her polytunnel to the best use. This is a beginners workshop aimed at helping you get the most from your polytunnel. Whether you have a large or small polytunnel they are an unbelievably valuable resource in your garden/smallholding and can allow you to grow fruit and veg for most of the year.
We will look at planning month by month to allow maximum use of your beds, companion planting, ideas for using every area in your polytunnel, the ethics of permaculture in our polytunnel and how to apply it together with sharing of ideas.
You will also have a tour of Denise’s polytunnels, and her vegetable gardens where she aims to grow all of her own produce that she then uses for preserves and chutneys.
