The RHS Harvest Festival is an annual event in the centre of London (Lindley Hall, Westminster SW1P 2QW). There is a wealth of information on growing, harvesting and using garden produce. The results of various fruit and vegetable competitions are on display including the Giant Pumpkin Competition. Various stalls have displays and tasting samples of apples, chillies and garlic. There are talks on growing and using autumn produce and experts are available to identify visitors’ fruit varieties and give specialist advice.
We had planned to go by coach, but as not enough people booked we are now going by train.
